Vision Statement nnTo be continental leader in land reform and administration.nnMission Statement nnThe mission statement justifies the reason of existence for the Ministry of Lands and Resettlement in a simple and clear manner. In other words it describes the purpose of the MLR based on the above mentioned Mandate.nnThe Namibian Government has embarked upon a Public Service Reform Initiative (PSRI) which is intended to transform Public Service into a performance driven Government at all level-central and sub-national levels. The reform initiative is aimed at improving service delivery to the public and foster operational efficiency within the Public Service. This will return in return result in effectively achieving NDP3 and Vision 2030 goals. The government, under the PSRI, has embraced Performance Management System (PMS) as its Vehicle to achieve the desired performance oriented culture in the public Service. Strategic planning is fundamental for the successful implementation of the Performance Management System.
